My dream career began when I was 14 years old in my Dad’s basement. I had a set of Christmas lights, a disco ball and some basic sound equipment – that was all it took, I was hooked. I became the “go to” light and sound guy for my neighbors church, my high school’s show choir, concerts and musicals. I even played a few reunions and small parties.
Life happened, I had a job that paid the bills but in 2004 things changed. I acted as the DJ for my sister’s wedding and got so much positive feedback I knew it was time to pursue my dream. I began my own business DJ’ing and operated solo as Sonic Boom DJ until the opportunity to partner with Corey came in 2013.
Combining our experience, equipment and passion to entertain has been the best decision I’ve ever made.
Yo DJ Entertainment is in a class of our own and I am proud to say I’m a part of that success. I enjoy getting to know each client personally and exceeding their expectations. Being entrusted to DJ an event or wedding can “make or break” the day, it’s something I take VERY seriously and promise I will do everything humanly possible to make it perfect for you!
