I started out my professional DJ career doing sound part time for a popular local band. I learned a lot about of setting up professional sound & lighting and what it takes to get and maintain a full dance floor. It was an excellent start to my career but I knew I wanted more.
I saw myself working for a company that dripped professionalism and had a passion for their craft. When I met Corey I knew that Yo Dj was that company.
Corey showed me that Yo Dj wasn't like the other Dj services. The time they spent getting to know their clients and all the work and time they put in the planning process was ridiculous; but it truly showed in their performances and how they executed flawless events. I spent a whole year just working under Corey and James before I did my first event. I was able to benefit from their years of experience as well as share my creativity and young perspective.
I realize that your event will be one of the most important days in your life, therefore, I treat it as the most important day in my life. I strive to make the planning process and event go as smoothly as possible. I can't help but to giggle when people state “you're just a Dj?” I never viewed this as a job when my passion for it runs so deep. I am proud to be part of Yo Dj.
